Dishwasher problems are either simple or they're not — and the difference matters, because some of what people think is a broken dishwasher is actually a plumbing issue or a detergent problem. We'll figure out which one it is and, if it's the machine, fix it.

Brands we service for dishwasher repair
We stock the common dishwasher parts for these brands on our trucks:
Where the problem usually lives
A dishwasher that won't drain is usually fighting a clogged filter, a stuck check valve, or — on units connected through the disposal — a plugged disposal knockout. Dishes not getting clean is usually a worn spray arm, a clogged chopper, or a water inlet valve that isn't filling enough. Leaks come from the door gasket, the sump area, or occasionally a cracked tub on older units.
Before we replace anything, we rule out the simple stuff: the inlet water hose, the drain hose routing, the air gap, and the detergent type you're using. Sometimes the fix is free.
When a dishwasher is worth saving
Bosch, Miele, KitchenAid, and higher-end Samsung/LG dishwashers are almost always worth repairing — they're built well and parts are available. Entry-level dishwashers past 8 years with a failed control board usually aren't. We'll pull the serial number, check the age, and give you a straight answer.

Frequently asked questions
My dishwasher is new but leaves film on the dishes. Is it broken?
Often not. Hard water, the wrong detergent, or a missing rinse aid can cause all of that. We'll rule those out first before assuming a hardware problem.
Can you fix a Bosch dishwasher that throws an E15 error?
Yes. E15 means water in the base pan, triggered by a float — we find the actual source of the water (usually a leak upstream) and repair it.
Do you install dishwashers too?
We can install a new dishwasher if you'd like us to, but our primary work is repair.
How long do most dishwasher repairs take?
Most are 45–75 minutes once we have the part. Pump and motor replacements can push past that on certain models.
